AIM
The Project Manager will have responsibility for execution and management of Projects and fulfilment of Envac’s obligations as defined by the Contract with the Client. He will also be responsible for standard coordination / supervision / construction and on-site project execution as per company’s project process.
QUALIFICATIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic qualification : B E (Mechanical)
Experience : 8-10 years in MEP or relevant field some of which needs to be on site environment
Mobility : Must be flexible for locational movement depending on job environment
Key responsibilities :
 Familiarity with EPC Contracts – both technical and commercial aspects
 Must be able to manage a small team of engineers, contractors and workers
 Project Planning and Scheduling, preferably using Primavera or MS Office
 Project Budgeting and execution within the cost including forecasting for variations
 Co-ordination with design team for drawing and document submission and approvals.
 Adequate knowledge of Layouts, P&IDs, piping drawings, SLDs and Controls
 Familiarity with material specifications - both IS and international standards
 Consciousness of HSE Plans and standards and enforcement of same
 Understanding of Procurement processes and bid evaluation
 Site level management of manpower and materials including sub-contractors
 Cost consciousness and cash-flow management
 Invoicing and realisation of due payments.
 Variations for out of contract scope and negotiation of contractual issues and claims
 Generate Progress reports and Project reviews
 Willingness to follow company directives and flexibility in responsibility shifts
