Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage new vendor relationships
- Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers
- Issue Purchase Orders/Work Orders and track them to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products
- Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
- Prepare reports and summarize data including sales report and book value
- Schedule store visits and conduct competitor survey
- Execution (and monitoring) of all regular purchasing duties
- Handle and monitor claims to vendors for defectives, shortage, missing materials
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate Payments follow up for suppliers
- Prepare and submit reports on cost reduction, increase of rate, comparatives.
Working experience in sourcing / purchase of building construction materials and other allied products in Kerala need only apply.
